Nearly 8,000 lbs. of sensitive documents, old bank statements, outdated tax returns and more were shredded at the Community Shredding Event July 14, making it our biggest shredding event ever.

The event, which we co-hosted with the Town of Holland, doubled as a benefit for the First Reformed Church Food Vault and the Cedar Grove Food Pantry, bringing in food and monetary donations for the two organizations.

  • The total shredded was 7,940 lbs. vs. 4,100 lbs. last year
  • 12 boxes, or an estimated 350 lbs.+ of food, was collected for the food banks

The next annual Community Shredding Event will be held on July 13, 2019, 8-11 a.m. Thank you to everyone for making this year’s event a smashing success!
