Name and Position: Tom Leibham, Vice President Lending
Length of Time in Position: 7 years at OSB, 18 years in mortgage lending, 24 years in banking
Why did you become a Mortgage Lender? I started out as personal banker and also worked in the trust and investment area. I became a mortgage lender because I enjoy working directly with customers, getting to know them and helping them reach their financial goals.
Favorite thing about being a mortgage lender: I enjoy helping individuals achieve their goal of purchasing their first home, remodeling their current home, building their dream home or building an investment real estate portfolio. I like working with people to help structure their loans to match their financial goals.
What makes Sheboygan County a great place to live? I was born and raised in Sheboygan. Sheboygan County has a lot to offer people. From Lake Michigan on the east to the Kettle Moraine forest to the west there is always something for families to do. I love all the summer time activities that are held each year.
What do you do when you’re not working? When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. My four kids have all been involved in many different sports throughout the years, and I enjoy watching them compete and grow. I have volunteered as a soccer and basketball coach for many years. I enjoy being active in the community through my involvement as the committee chairman for the annual 3-on-3 Gus Macker basketball tournament which benefits the Sheboygan County Boys and Girls Club, I serve in various leadership positions for Boy Scouts Troop 885 in Sheboygan Falls and I enjoy volunteering my time at many other community organizations and activities. I also enjoy golfing and hiking.
